I understand that rhodium is used to make a yellow gold ring a white gold ring. I have recently purchased an 18kt. white gold ring and within 2 1/2 months I have already noticed a slight yellow cast. I also have a 14kt. white gold ring that I've had for over 5 years and there is no yellow cast. Is this normal for an 18kt. white gold ring to change faster than a 14kt. white gold ring? And if so, wouldn't I get more than 2 1/2 months out of it? I'm very disappointed. Kelly
